Surgident Ridge Split Set for Narrow Bone Ridge – Set of 5 (SD-RS) is a five-piece chisel kit built to widen a narrow alveolar ridge so an implant can be placed with confidence. When the bone crest is too thin to hold a fixture, these thin-bladed chisels split and expand the ridge along its length, opening space without cutting away surrounding bone. Work through the graduated sequence — SCL-01 to SCL-04 step up from 1.0mm to 2.5mm in blade width, while the curved SCL-05 reaches difficult posterior sites. Each 4.0mm blade carries depth markings, keeping penetration into the sectioned ridge controlled and predictable. Because the split bone retains its blood supply and bone-forming cells, healing improves and an implant can often be inserted in the same sitting, with no wait for a graft to consolidate. Made from surgical-grade stainless steel, the chisels store in a dedicated autoclavable cassette that keeps each instrument organised between cases.
