Description

The Surgident Implant Positioning Kit (SD-IPO) is a freehand system that helps you position implants accurately without fabricating a surgical guide stent. It makes the prosthetic endpoint predictable during surgery — letting you verify the site and the final crown’s size and shape before the osteotomy is committed. The kit pairs a Ø2.0 × 32 mm positioning drill (P-DR20) with five positioning guides and five guide pins sized 6, 7.5, 9, 10.5 and 12 mm, each matched to the mesio-distal crown width of the tooth being replaced. The drill engages through the selected guide to start the orifice; the same-size guide pin then seats into that site as a physical reference. In multiple-implant cases, the standing pin controls inter-implant spacing, parallelism and crown footprint as adjacent sites are prepared — a practical, stent-free route to restoratively driven implant placement.

Directions for Use

• Select the positioning guide that matches the mesio-distal width of the missing tooth.
• Slide the guide over the positioning drill and prepare the osteotomy on the planned site.
• Replace the drill with the same-size guide pin and seat it into the prepared site to preserve the space.
• For the next missing tooth, repeat steps 1–2 — the standing pin maintains correct spacing and parallelism between sites.
• Continue placing implants into the marked positions per your routine surgical protocol.
• Clean components ultrasonically, then autoclave before reuse.
