Directions for Use

Preparation

• Ensure the scanner, selected scanning tip, and compatible device are clean and ready for use
• Charge the scanner battery adequately before beginning a scanning session
• Connect the scanner using the appropriate wireless connectivity option for the clinical setup
• Open the compatible Medit scanning application and prepare the patient case

Tip Installation

• Select the appropriate reusable tip size according to the clinical requirement
• Attach the tip securely to the scanner before starting the scan
• Confirm that the optical surfaces are clean and free from contamination

Scanning Procedure

• Position the patient comfortably and isolate the scanning field as required
• Activate scanning using the scan button on the handpiece
• Maintain a consistent scanning distance and controlled movement over the teeth
• Use the handpiece control button to navigate, pan, zoom, or rotate the digital model when required
• Continue scanning systematically until all required anatomical areas are captured
• Use the wider field of view to cover larger areas with fewer scanning passes

Case Management

• Review the acquired scan data for missing areas, gaps, or insufficient coverage
• Rescan incomplete regions before completing the case
• Save and synchronize the completed scan through the supported Medit workflow
• Submit or export the digital case according to the intended clinical or laboratory workflow

Post-Use Care

• Stop scanning and disconnect the scanner from the active workflow
• Remove the scanning tip according to the recommended procedure
• Clean and disinfect the scanner and tip using compatible infection-control procedures
• Process reusable tips according to the manufacturer’s sterilization instructions
• Store the scanner and accessories in a clean, dry location after use

• Service and Warranty are handled by the manufacturer/importer directly for this product
