Directions for Use

Step 1: Preparation

• Examine the tooth clinically and radiographically
• Select the appropriate periotome from the set
• Ensure instruments are sterilized before use
• Administer local anesthesia as required

Step 2: Initial Insertion

• Position the periotome in the gingival sulcus
• Insert the blade parallel to the root surface
• Advance gently into the periodontal ligament space
• Maintain controlled pressure without excessive force

Step 3: Ligament Separation

• Move the instrument apically along the root surface
• Circumferentially sever periodontal ligament fibers
• Repeat around mesial, distal, buccal, and lingual surfaces
• Preserve surrounding bone and soft tissue structures

Step 4: Tooth Removal

• Confirm adequate ligament release
• Use suitable extraction forceps if required
• Remove the tooth with minimal luxation force
• Inspect the extraction socket for tissue preservation

Step 5: Post-Procedure Care
