Waldent Ultrasonic Cleaner 5 Ltr Stainless Steel works through high-frequency sound waves transmitted through the liquid to scrub clean the surface of immersed parts. The high-frequency sound waves, typically 40 kHz, agitate the liquid solution of water or solvent and cause the cavitation of solution molecules. Ultrasonic cleaning is suitable for cleaning a wide variety of materials, including metals, glass, rubber, ceramics, and some hard plastics. An ultrasonic parts cleaner is especially useful for removing tightly-adhered contaminants from intricate items with blind holes, cracks, and recesses. Examples of contaminants removed through ultrasonic cleaning include dust, dirt, oil, grease, pigments, flux agents, fingerprints, and polishing compounds.

Directions for Use

• Fill the tank of your cleaner with deionized/distilled water, adding a tablespoon of instrument cleaning liquid . Don’t use too much because it can be harmful.
• Turn on the cleaner and let it run without any items for 5-10 minutes so that the solution gets mixed well.
  
• Take your instruments and clean them briefly with a soft brush before putting them into the ultrasonic cleaner. Make sure that any residual dirt or blood is removed.
• Put your instruments into the tank. Remember not to put in too many instruments at once or it may scratch your instruments.
• Turn the device on.
• Let it run for as long as needed until your instruments are clean. Depending on how dirty the items are, this time usually varies from 1 to 20 minutes.
• When the cleaning is done, switch the cleaner off. Leave your instruments inside for another 5-10 minutes so that the dirt particles can fall to the bottom of the tank.
• Rinse the instruments. Wash off any remaining detergent, and dry them with a soft cloth.
• After drying put the instruments Sterilized in an autoclave.
