Directions for Use

• Preparation: Ensure the air motor engine is properly connected to the air supply in the dental unit.
• Attachment: Select the appropriate handpiece (straight or contra-angle) and securely attach it to the motor.
• Adjustment: Adjust the speed and torque settings on the air motor engine according to the specific procedure requirements.
• Sterilization: Before use, ensure that the handpiece and motor are properly sterilized. The entire unit, including the handpiece and motor, should be autoclaved to maintain sterility.
• Operation: Activate the air motor engine according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Use foot pedal controls to regulate speed and direction of rotation.
• Procedure: Perform the dental procedure with precision and control, utilizing the rotation capabilities of the handpiece as needed.
• Post-procedure: Once the procedure is complete, deactivate the air motor engine and detach the handpiece.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean the handpiece and motor thoroughly after each use, following recommended cleaning procedures. Regularly inspect the motor for any signs of wear or damage, and address any maintenance needs promptly.
• Storage: Store the air motor engine and handpieces in a clean, dry environment, protected from dust and debris.
• Safety: Always prioritize safety during use. Follow proper infection control protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
