Directions for Use

Preparation

• Inspect the torque wrench and drivers for any damage or contamination before use
• Sterilize the complete set through autoclave following standard clinical protocol
• Select the appropriate driver tip size and length based on the implant system being used

Driver Selection

• Choose the short 23.5 mm driver for anterior cases with limited interocclusal space
• Choose the long 30.0 mm driver for posterior cases requiring deeper access
• Match the driver tip diameter (1.2, 1.25, 1.7 S/M or 1.7 B/M) with the abutment screw type
• Insert the selected driver into the torque wrench head and ensure secure engagement

Operation

• Set the torque value on the SD Torque Wrench as per implant manufacturer guidelines
• Engage the driver tip into the abutment screw head with stable hand support
• Rotate the wrench gently in clockwise direction until the preset torque is achieved
• Use the turning handle for manual finger tightening or initial seating before final torque

Post Use Care

• Disassemble the drivers and turning handle from the torque wrench after use
• Clean each component thoroughly with an enzymatic cleaner to remove biological residue
• Autoclave the complete set before storage to maintain sterility for the next case
