Directions for Use

Step 1: Open Contact Point

• Use the white saw blade (100 µm) or strip to gently open the contact point

Step 2: Initial Reduction

• Begin with the yellow single-sided file (90 µm) to initiate the IPR. Gently pass it through the contact point. Stop when there’s no friction. The space will now measure 0.09mm

Step 3: Additional Reduction

• Pass the blue single-sided file (100 µm) through the contact until friction is felt. The space will now measure 0.10mm

Step 4: Main Reduction

• Use the purple single-sided file (150 µm) to further pass through the contact until there’s no friction. The interproximal space will now be 0.15mm

Step 5: Increase Space to 0.20mm

• If a 0.20mm space is desired, repeat the process with the blue double-sided file (200 µm)

Step 6: Create Larger Space

• For a space greater than 0.30mm, use the black double-sided file (300 µm), applying gentle force towards the tooth surface. Measure the space with the gauge to confirm the desired result

Step 7: Polishing

• Finish by using the yellow file (90 µm) to polish the treated surface, avoiding enamel furrows once the desired space is achieved

Note: Always use the files in sequence. Files will only cut where there is contact between the teeth
