Directions for Use

• Preparation and Flap Elevation: Begin by performing a full thickness flap elevation. This step is crucial as brushing is only possible after such elevation. Ensure the flap is elevated as deeply as possible to provide adequate access to the periosteum.
• Flap Retraction: Use forceps to gently retract the flap, providing clear exposure to the surgical site. This will help in maintaining visibility and control during the brushing process.
• Brush Selection: Start with the small size brush, either the regular or angulated type, depending on the area being treated. For posterior areas, use the angulated brushes (right or left).
• Brushing Technique: Hold the brush in contact with the periosteum and perform a circular motion. This precise movement helps in extending and brushing the periosteum without causing damage. The goal is to keep the periosteum membrane intact while releasing it from the bone.
• Procedure Completion: Continue brushing with the selected instruments, moving from smaller to larger sizes as needed, to ensure thorough periosteum release while maintaining its integrity.
