Directions for Use

Power Setup
Begin by plugging in the power cord of the Waldent I-MIX Metal Clip Amalgamator. Locate the switch at the back of the device and turn it on. As the device powers up, the display screen will illuminate.

Setting Mixing Time
To set the mixing time, use the dedicated buttons on the device. If you are using the IMIX-M3 model, the initial display will show the default mixing time. Adjust the time using the “Time Up” and “Time Down” buttons until the desired time is displayed. This selected time will be saved for subsequent use.

Selecting Mixing Speed
Depending on the model you are using IMIX-M3, there are different options for selecting mixing speed. For IMIX-M3, the device offers two fixed levels of speed – high (H) and low (L). Press the “M” button to switch between these modes. For IMIX-M6, you can adjust the mixing speed by pushing the “M” button and using the “Up” and “Down” buttons to select the desired rotations per minute (RPM) or speed level.

Preparing Capsule
Open the safety lid of the device. Place the dental restorative capsule, such as an amalgam or glass ion capsule, securely into the designated clip within the device. Ensure the capsule is placed properly and securely.

Close the safety lid carefully after inserting the capsule. It’s important to have the safety lid securely closed before proceeding.

Starting the Mixing Process
Press the “Start” button to initiate the mixing process. The display will show the remaining mixing time, which will decrease gradually as the device operates. You will hear a beep when the mixing time is completed.

Automated Stop
Once the preset mixing time is over, the device will automatically stop. The display will show that the mixing process is complete.

Completion And Shutdown
After the mixing process is done, turn off the device using the switch at the back. Open the safety lid and carefully remove the dental restorative capsule from the clip.

Maintenance and Care
To ensure continued performance, it’s important to regularly check and maintain the device.
