SuperEndo Tips For Sonic Irrigator – Small (Yellow)

Description

Superendo Sonic Irrigator Tips are used with Supernendo Sonic Endo Irrigator, Dentsply Endoactivator and API Sonic Endoactivator.

These EndoActivator Tips are 22mm in length. The Tips have an easy snap on/snap off design. They are strong and flexible made up with medical grade polymer.

They are very easy to differentiate from other tips as the Large tips are Blue 35/04, Medium tips are Red 25/04, Small tips are Yellow 15/02.

Indications :

• Sonic Endo activator tips agitates irrigation of debridement and helps in disruption of the smear layer and biofilm during Endodontic treatment.
• The activated fluids from the tips promotes deep cleaning and disinfection into the lateral canals, fins, webs and anastomoses. A cleaned root canal system facilitates 3-D obturation and long-term success.

PRECAUTIONS:

• To avoid the contamination of the root canal, The Irrigator Tip should be disinfected before use.
• The tips should be cleaned with the use of gauge moistened with the disinfecting solution like sodium hypochlorite
• For infection control, select the approximately sized sonic irrigator tip and remove it from plastic packages.
• Irrigator Tips are intended for single patient use.
• Proper Disposal of the tips should be done after the use.
• Do not autoclave.
• Never twist, turn or torque the tips when removing.
• Never use the clock wise or the counter clock wise motion to remove the tip.

Directions for Use

Sonic Endo activator Tips Can be very easily placed on the Sonic Endo Activator as it has snap On / Snap off design.

• First, prepare canal to produce a fully tapered shape
• Fill The Pulp Chamber with EDTA , NaOCl or any other final Rinsing solution
• Selection of the irrigation tip that manually fits loosely within 2 mm of working length is must
• There are three types of irrigation tip available – Small, Medium and large
• Place the barrier sleeve over the complete length of the hand piece
• Attach the Irrigator tip over the barrier-protected hand piece
• The Irrigator tip should snap on firmly, promoting a secure connection with the hand piece
• The Irrigator tip is then passively inserted in the canal within 2mm of the WL
• The irrigator tips are moved in short 2-3 mm vertical strokes
• Hydrodynamically agitate the intracanal solution for 30-60 seconds
• Then use saline and intracanal suction to eliminate loose debris
• Repeat the above steps for each intracanal irrigant used.

Irrigator Tip Removal :

• Firmly Support the head of the hand piece with your thumb while grasping the white circular flange portion of the irrigator tip with opposite thumb and fore finger.
• Use your thumb to maintain support of the handpiece and pull the irrigator tip STRAIGHT off.
• Keep the hand piece head and irrigator tip aligned During the removal process.
