Shofu ZilMaster Finishing & Polishing Kit HP is a comprehensive, resilient, diamond-impregnated system designed for both laboratory and chairside use. This versatile kit includes an assortment of Dura-Green DIA and color-coded ZiLMaster Polishers, providing the highest natural luster on all types of modern ceramics, including zirconia and lithium disilicate restorations. Ideal for finishing and polishing oxide and silicate ceramic restorations, the kit ensures fast and efficient contouring with Dura-Green DIA, which features densely packed diamond particles from the surface to the core of the abrasive head for superior, consistent cutting efficiency until fully worn out. The ZiLMaster polishers offer a three-step process: fine finishing and smoothing with ZiLMaster Coarse to eliminate all remaining scratches, pre-polishing with ZiLMaster Medium, and achieving a high-luster finish with ZiLMaster Fine. These polishers are designed with an optimal balance of diamond particle size and distribution, along with a resilient silicone binder, ensuring the smoothest surfaces and high natural gloss with minimal abrasive wear. Additionally, the durable abrasive points are autoclavable, enhancing their longevity. The maximum permissible speeds are 30,000 rpm for Dura-Green DIA and 20,000 rpm for ZiLMaster Coarse, Medium, and Fine.

Directions for Use

Preparation:

• Ensure the restoration is clean and dry.
• Select the appropriate polisher based on the required step.

Contour and Shape:

• Use the Dura-Green DIA for fast and efficient contouring.
• Set the handpiece to a maximum speed of 30,000 rpm.
• Apply gentle pressure and contour the ceramic restoration as needed.

Fine Finishing:

• Switch to the ZiLMaster Coarse polisher for fine finishing and smoothing.
• Set the handpiece to a maximum speed of 20,000 rpm.
• Gently move the polisher across the surface to eliminate all remaining scratches.

Pre-Polishing:

• Use the ZiLMaster Medium polisher for pre-polishing.
• Maintain the handpiece speed at a maximum of 20,000 rpm.
• Lightly polish the surface to prepare it for the final high-luster polish.

High-Luster Polishing:

• Select the ZiLMaster Fine polisher for the final high-luster polish.
• Set the handpiece to a maximum speed of 20,000 rpm.
• Carefully polish the surface to achieve a high natural gloss.

Post-Polishing:

• Inspect the restoration to ensure a smooth and glossy finish.
• Clean the polished restoration with water or air spray to remove any debris.

Maintenance:

• Autoclave the abrasive points to maintain hygiene and extend their durability.
• Store the kit in a clean, dry place for future use.
