Scheu Bioplast Insulating Agent 500 ML – 3189 is an insulation for plaster models when using BIOPLAST® material is a specially formulated insulating agent designed for use during the fabrication of positioners, mouth guards, and similar appliances with BIOPLAST® sheets. It provides a transparent, even film that effectively prevents BIOPLAST® material from adhering to the plaster model while ensuring smooth, residue-free inner surfaces on the appliance. The agent dries quickly without dripping, forming an optimal barrier between the model and thermoplastic sheet.

Directions for Use
- Preparation of the Model — Ensure the plaster model is completely set, dry, and clean before application. Remove all loose particles and smooth the surface if necessary.
- Application of Insulating Agent — Shake the bottle well before use. Use the attached applicator tip to apply a thin, even layer of the agent directly onto the plaster surface to be covered with BIOPLAST® material. Cover all areas thoroughly without pooling.
- Drying and Readiness — Allow the insulating agent to dry completely; it will form a transparent, uniform film over the plaster model, preventing adhesion of the thermoplastic material.
- After Thermoforming — Once the appliance is formed and removed, the insulating layer can be easily rinsed off the plaster model with water, leaving no residue behind
