Description

The Piocreat UW-03 Washing & Curing Machine is a compact 2-in-1 post-processing station built for dental labs and clinics running LCD/DLP/SLA resin workflows. It combines the two mandatory finishing steps — solvent washing and UV curing — into a single benchtop unit, cutting handling time between print completion and final delivery. The sealed wash chamber uses a 500-rpm magnetic vortex propeller to clear uncured resin from crown and bridge models, ortho shells, surgical guides, and temporary restorations, working with both IPA and water-washable resins. The 10.64 L cure chamber pairs 18 × 405 nm UV LEDs (>20,000 μW/cm² at center) with an anti-roll square turntable for uniform 360° post-cure across all model surfaces. A UV-blocking tinted lid protects operator eyes and auto-pauses the cycle when opened. Compatible with build platforms from 8.9″ to 10.3″, covering most chairside and lab dental resin printers.

Directions for Use

Installation:

• Unbox & inspect — Remove the UW-03 from packaging. Verify all accessories are present: wash bucket, stainless steel basket, turntable, tinted UV-blocking lid, and power adapter.
• Choose a location — Place the unit on a flat, level, dry benchtop. Keep it away from direct sunlight, water sources, and patient/operator seating zones. Allow at least 10 cm clearance around the unit for ventilation.
• Seat the wash bucket — Lower the sealed PP wash bucket into the main housing until it locks in place over the magnetic drive base.
• Fit the turntable — Place the square anti-roll turntable onto the drive shaft; confirm the four ball casters make contact and the turntable rotates freely.
• Attach the UV lid — Position the orange tinted UV-blocking lid over the housing; the cure cycle will only run when the lid is properly seated.
• Connect power — Plug the DC 24V adapter into the rear port and connect to a 100–240V AC mains socket. The display panel will illuminate on standby.
• Fill the wash bucket — Add 95% or higher isopropyl alcohol for standard dental resins, or purified room-temperature water for water-washable resins. Do not overfill past the marked line.

How to Use

• Drain excess resin from the print over the printer vat.
• Choose a wash mode:
  • Basket wash — detach print from build plate, place in the stainless steel basket, lower into the wash bucket.
  • Hang-state wash — leave the print on the build plate (compatible 8.9″–10.3″ plates) and clip the plate directly over the wash bucket.
• Press Mode → select Wash.
• Press Speed → choose Fast or Normal.
• Press Time → set duration (typical 3–6 min for models, 5–10 min for guides).
• Press Play to start. The magnetic vortex will spin at 500 r/min.
• When the cycle ends, lift the print out, rinse briefly with fresh IPA if any sticky residue remains, and blot dry with lint-free tissue.

Curing the print

• Remove supports before curing if support marks will affect clinical fit (surgical guides, crown & bridge models).
• Place the dried print on the turntable (single model) or in the basket (multiple small parts).
• Close the tinted UV-blocking lid.
• Press Mode → select Cure.
• Press Time → set duration per resin TDS (typical 3–5 min for models, 5–10 min for biocompatible guides and temporaries).
• Press Play to start. The 18 × 405 nm UV LEDs will activate and the turntable will rotate for full 360° cure.
• If the lid is lifted mid-cycle, the UV LEDs auto-pause; close the lid to resume.
