Directions for Use

Preparation

• Unbox the AFU and verify all accessories: feed hose, USB-C cable, bottle cap with dip tube, and anti-drip base
• Place the AFU on a stable, level surface directly beside the HALOT-X1 printer
• Ensure the printer is powered off before making any connections

Installation Steps

• Connect the USB-C cable from the AFU to the USB-C port on the top rear of the HALOT-X1 (this powers and controls the AFU)
• Attach the feed hose to the AFU outlet and connect the other end to the black hose port on the printer’s resin vat
• Take a compatible PioCreat/Creality resin bottle and screw on the supplied AFU cap with the built-in dip tube
• Place the resin bottle into the AFU cradle, ensuring it sits firmly on the weight sensor base
• Verify the RFID tag on the bottle base aligns with the AFU reader

First-Time Setup

• Power on the HALOT-X1 and confirm the AFU is detected on the touchscreen
• Navigate to the AFU settings menu and calibrate the resin level sensor if prompted
• Run a test feed cycle to prime the tubes and check for leaks at all connection points
• Confirm RFID recognition by checking that resin type and parameters auto-populate on the screen

Post-Installation Check

• Preheat resin to the target temperature (30–45 °C) via the touchscreen
• Confirm the vat fills to the correct level during a test run
• The AFU is now ready for automatic feeding, monitoring, and recycling during prints
