Directions for Use

Patient & Case Selection

• Indicated for primary 2nd lower molars with extensive caries, pulp therapy, or enamel defects.

Tooth Preparation

• Perform occlusal reduction of approximately 1.5 mm.

• Reduce proximal surfaces to break contacts and allow crown seating.

• Round off sharp angles and smooth all surfaces for passive crown fit.

Crown Selection & Trial Fit

• Choose appropriate side (right or left) and trial-fit sizes (E2–E7).

• The crown should seat snugly without excessive force.

• Ensure the crown seats fully and extends slightly below the gingival margin.

Optional Vent Hole Creation

• Drill a small retention hole in the crown if needed to prevent aspiration during try-in.

Cementation

• Dry the crown and prepared tooth.

• Apply luting cement (preferably resin-modified glass ionomer) inside the crown.

• Seat the crown with steady finger pressure or have the child bite gently.

Final Adjustments

• Clean off all excess cement, especially interproximally.

• Check occlusion and adjust if necessary with a fine bur.

• Polish crown margins for a smooth finish.

Post-Operative Care

• Advise soft food for 1 hour post-procedure.

• Instruct caregivers on oral hygiene and regular check-ups.
