Directions for Use
- Preparation: Ensure the dental area is clean and sterile
- Tooth Preparation: Reduce the occlusal surface of the tooth by approximately 1-2 mm to accommodate the crown. Etch and clean the tooth surface
- Tooth Isolation: Use cotton rolls or a rubber dam to isolate the tooth and maintain a dry working area
- Crown Selection: Choose the appropriate size of Pedo Crown based on the mesial-distal width of the prepared tooth
- Apply Bonding Agent: Apply a bonding agent to the prepared tooth surface and cure it as per manufacturer instructions
- Fill and Place Crown: Fill the selected crown with flowable composite resin, then place it onto the prepared tooth
- Curing: Use a light cure gun to initially cure for 2-3 seconds, remove any excess resin, and then cure again for 30 seconds to ensure proper adhesion
- Post-Operative Care: Instruct parents on care for the crown and monitor for any issues post-placement
