Description

Angle assist is a gadget that aids in the real-time acquisition and maintenance of desired working angles. It’s a gadget that may be put on any operating or analytical instrument and has a highly sensitive sensor. The Z axis is aligned to the shaft of the working instrument and displays real-time values of angles of the subject of interest along the X and Y axes.

The tool measures angles to two decimal places and is sensitive to 1/100th of a degree. In free-hand operation, it helps to stabilize the instrument while maintaining and monitoring the desired operating angles. It can also be used as an analytical tool to measure any angle in and out of the facial geometric complex.

Directions for Use

• Connect the sensor cord to the socket.
• Install the sensor on the instrument of your choosing.
• Push the Reset button after aligning the working end with a specified reference angle (horizontal or vertical).
• In both the X and Y axes, the sensor is now calibrated to the reference as ZERO.
• Once the sensor has been calibrated with a known reference angle, tilt the sensor along the desired axis to create acceptable working angles, and then press the Reset button to establish these angles as “Zero reference values.”
• Now you’re ready to go. Just remember to keep the reference value at zero throughout the procedure. Recalibrate as needed, following the same methods.
• Reset the sensor to the subject’s vertical or horizontal axis, and then align the working end of the instrument to the subject’s tilt to determine its angulations along the axis of interest.
