Directions for Use

Preparation:

• Ensure the patient’s mouth is clean and dry before starting the bite registration procedure.
• Check that the mixing tips are securely attached to both the base (orange) and catalyst (white) cartridges.

Dispensing:

• Dispense equal lengths of the base (orange) and catalyst (white) materials directly onto a mixing pad or into a suitable mixing device. The ratio should be 1:1 by volume.

Mixing:

• Thoroughly mix the base and catalyst materials together using a spatula or a mechanical mixer. Blend the materials until a homogenous color is achieved, ensuring there are no streaks or inconsistencies.

Application:

• Working quickly but precisely, load the mixed material into the bite tray or directly apply it onto the occlusal surfaces of the patient’s teeth. Avoid trapping any air bubbles during application.

Bite Registration:

• Promptly place the loaded bite tray into the patient’s mouth, ensuring it accurately captures the bite relationship between the upper and lower teeth.
• Instruct the patient to bite down firmly but comfortably for the specified set time, which is approximately 60 seconds.

Removal:

• After the set time has elapsed, carefully remove the bite tray from the patient’s mouth.
• Ensure that the bite registration material is intact and accurately records the patient’s occlusal relationship.

Evaluation:

• Inspect the bite registration for accuracy and completeness. Verify that all relevant occlusal contacts have been captured.

Finalizing:

• If necessary, make any adjustments or corrections to the bite registration to ensure it accurately represents the patient’s bite.

Disposal:

• Safely dispose of any excess or unused material and used mixing tips following appropriate dental waste disposal protocols.

Cleaning:

• Clean any residual material from the patient’s mouth and surrounding areas using dental suction and appropriate cleaning materials.
