Directions for Use

• Preparation: Ensure the dental tray is clean and dry before starting the impression procedure. If necessary, select the appropriate tray size for the patient’s dentition.
• Mixing: Extreme Putty and Lite are designed to be used without automatic mixing devices. Take equal amounts of the putty and wash materials and knead them together until a uniform color and consistency are achieved.
• Load the Tray: Once the putty and wash materials are adequately mixed, quickly load the dental tray with the mixed impression material. Be efficient as the material sets relatively fast.
• Seat the Tray: Gently and accurately place the loaded dental tray into the patient’s mouth. Ensure that the tray covers all teeth and captures the relevant dental structures.
• Snap Set Capacity: The impression material has snap set capacity, so it will set relatively quickly. Pay attention to the optimized controlled setting time, which gives you a sufficient working time for precise placement.
• Hold Steady: Instruct the patient to keep their mouth closed and remain steady during the setting process. Avoid any unnecessary movement to maintain the accuracy of the impression.
• Remove the Tray: Once the impression material has set, carefully remove the tray from the patient’s mouth. Be gentle to avoid any distortion of the impression.
• Inspect the Impression: Examine the impression for accuracy and detail. Check that all necessary dental structures are well-captured and that there are no distortions.
• Transfer to Laboratory: Send the impression to the dental laboratory promptly to ensure timely fabrication of the required dental restorations.
• Clean-Up: Clean any excess impression material from the dental tray and other instruments used during the procedure.
