Directions for Use

Preparation:

• Ensure a clean and sterile work environment before beginning any dental procedure. Adhere to infection control protocols and proper hand hygiene.

Attachment Selection:

• Choose the appropriate attachment from the kit (e.g., ball, pointed tip, chisel) based on the specific requirements of the restoration and the clinical situation.

Attachment Assembly: Insert the selected attachment securely into the OptraSculpt hand instrument. Ensure it is properly attached to prevent any detachment during use.

Composite Material Placement:

Apply the uncured sculptable composite restorative material to the tooth or restoration site as needed.

Contouring:

• Use the OptraSculpt instrument with the attached tip to carefully shape and contour the composite material. Take advantage of the anti-stick properties to make the process more efficient.

Anatomical Form:

• Pay close attention to achieving the desired anatomical form, including occlusal surfaces, proximal marginal ridges, and overall smoothness.

Smooth Surfaces:

• Ensure the restoration surfaces are smooth to minimize plaque accumulation and reduce the risk of secondary caries. Properly designed proximal surfaces also facilitate easier cleaning of interdental spaces.
