Directions for Use
Step 1: Try-in of composite and ceramic restorations
- Application of Liquid Strip on cavity or restoration
- Try-in, evaluation of shade and fit
- Removal of the restoration from the cavity
- Rinsing off Liquid Strip with water and drying with blower
- Cleansing the restoration with 37 % phosphoric acid (e.g. Total Etch)
- Thoroughly rinsing off phosphoric acid and drying with blower
- Further procedure according to information of the luting composite manufacturer
Step 2: Prevention of oxygen inhibiton with composites
a) Inlay/Onlay luting
- Placement of ceramic or composite restoration with a luting composite (e.g. Variolink II)
- Removal of excess composite
- Application of Liquid Strip on restoration margins
- Light-curing of the luting composite through Liquid Strip
- Rinsing off Liquid Strip with water
- Finishing/polishing of the restoration
b) Freely built-up composite restorations
- Build-up of restoration
- Covering restoration surface with Liquid Strip
- Light-curing of the composite through Liquid Strip
- Rinsing off Liquid Strip with water
- Finishing/polishing of the restoration
