The GDC Luxatip 3mm Curved (L3C) is a precision luxating instrument designed for atraumatic tooth extraction in posterior regions. The 3mm curved tip is engineered to navigate the tight interproximal spaces around posterior teeth, gradually severing the periodontal ligament with controlled apical pressure — reducing the force required and minimising trauma to surrounding alveolar bone and soft tissue.

Manufactured from high-grade stainless steel with GDC’s proprietary blade treatment, the L3C retains its sharpness and structural integrity through repeated autoclave sterilization cycles. The ergonomically shaped handle provides a balanced grip that reduces hand fatigue during prolonged or difficult extractions.

• Gentle Pressure: Apply gentle and controlled pressure with the curved tip to gradually loosen and elevate the tooth from its socket. Use slow and precise back-and-forth and up-and-down motions to avoid any sudden movements that may cause trauma to surrounding tissues.
• Repositioning: If you encounter resistance or difficulty during the extraction process, pause and reposition the Luxatip to ensure safe and effective elevation of the tooth. The curved design of the Luxatip allows for better access to posterior teeth and ensures controlled movements.
