Directions for Use

Preparation:

• Isolate the treatment area using a rubber dam to prevent contamination.
• Disinfect the field using an appropriate antiseptic or chlorhexidine rinse.

Access Cavity Preparation:

• Access the pulp chamber with standard endodontic instruments under irrigation.
• Remove carious dentin without disturbing underlying pulp until exposure.

Hemostasis:

• If bleeding is present, control with a sterile cotton pellet and saline.
• Ensure the pulp area is dry but not desiccated before paste application.

Paste Application:

• Apply a small amount of DPI Pulpdev Paste directly to the exposed pulp area.
• Avoid excessive quantity to prevent overflow or leakage.

Temporary Sealing:

• Place a temporary restoration or sealing material over the paste.
• Ensure a tight seal to prevent contamination or loss of paste.

Observation and Follow-up:

• Leave the material in place for a few days to ensure complete devitalization.
• Re-enter the chamber and proceed with pulp extirpation or amputation as planned.
