The tray with a removable segment can be used for taking an impression of all sectors of the dental arches,regardless of their shape, as it is available in different sizes. The correct numbered segment for the clinical situation is removed to expose the implant zone precisely.

The pick-up impression procedure is considered to be the most precise method for positioning the implant analogues in the working model. However,depending on the implant system used, the manufacturing of an individual impression tray might be necessary, this means additional time, costs and another appointment for the patient.These trays are especially adapted for this procedure. It is an impression tray with removable segments that is rigid,reusable and only a single appointment is required for casting a perfect model.

Directions for Use

• Place open-tray impression coping on the implant. Confirm its complete seating with a radiograph. There should not be a space at the junction of the implant and impression coping.
• Remove the corresponding section from the impression tray with the driver provided in the packaging.
• Try in the impression tray over the open-tray coping. Make sure that there is adequate space around the impression coping. If the impression coping is located between two sections, remove both.
• Fill the impression tray with heavy-viscosity impression material and syringe light-viscosity impression material over the impression coping. Seat the tray. Allow the impression material to fully set, unscrew the impression coping, and retrieve your impression with your open-tray impression coping from the patient’s mouth.
• Remove the impression coping from the mouth and reposition it in the impression, checking that it relocates positively. There will usually be an audible or tactile “click”
