Directions for Use

Prepare the Handpiece:

• Ensure that the handpiece is properly sterilized before each use, following recommended sterilization protocols.
• Confirm that the handpiece is in good condition, and the bur is securely attached.

Connect to Air Supply:

• Connect the handpiece to the dental unit’s air supply using the appropriate fittings.
• Set the air pressure within the recommended range (0.18-0.21MPa).

Insert the Bur:

• Use the push-button mechanism or any applicable method to securely insert the short shank bur into the handpiece.

Adjust Speed and Water Spray:

• Set the desired speed on the dental unit, usually within the specified range (350,000-400,000 rpm).
• Ensure that the water spray is functioning correctly for cooling during procedures.

Operate the Handpiece:

• Hold the handpiece in a comfortable grip.
• Begin the procedure, using the handpiece to remove decay, polish fillings, perform cosmetic dentistry, or alter prostheses with precision.

Cleaning and Maintenance:

• After use, detach the bur and clean the handpiece according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
• Lubricate the handpiece as recommended, following proper maintenance procedures.

Sterilization:

• Sterilize the handpiece again after each use, following the appropriate autoclaving guidelines (up to 135º C).
