Directions for Use

Preparation:

• Ensure the root canal is clean, dry, and shaped according to the specific endodontic protocol.

Mixing:

• Dispense the required amount of RC Seal powder and liquid onto a mixing pad
• Mix thoroughly with a metal cement spatula in a circular motion until a uniform consistency is achieved. The ideal consistency is when the mixed mass can be pulled up to about ¾ inch with the spatula

Application:

• Carry the mixed sealer into the root canal using a lentulo spiral filler, paste carrier, or bi-directional filler
• The sealer should have enough flow to coat the walls but not drip from the instrument at the recommended ratio

Obturation:

• Insert the master gutta-percha cone and proceed with condensation using your preferred technique
• All known condensation methods are compatible with RC Seal

Precautions:

• Do not use if the patient is allergic to epoxy resin
• Avoid overextension beyond the apex
• If hydrogen peroxide was used for irrigation, rinse with sodium hypochlorite before applying RC Seal, as the sealer reacts with residual peroxide

Storage:

• Store the liquid away from sunlight in a cool, dry place
