V Bioseal RCS is a premixed ready-to-use injectable bioceramic paste developed for permanent root canal filling and sealing applications. V Bioseal RCS is an insoluble, radiopaque, and aluminum-free material based on a calcium silicate composition, which requires the presence of water to set and harden. V Bioseal RCS does not shrink during setting and demonstrates excellent physical properties. V Bioseal RCS is packaged in a pre-loaded syringe and is supplied with disposable BC Tips. BC Sealer may be delivered into the canal via the tips provided or it can be delivered via traditional methods.

Indications:

• Permanent obturation of the root canal following vital pulp-extirpation.
• Permanent obturation of the root canal following removal of infected or necrotic pulp and placement of intracanal dressings.

Contraindications:

• Do not use V Bioseal RCS in patients with a known allergy to any of the product’s ingredients. An allergic reaction may require re-treatment.

Storage:

• Store at a temperature between 10 C to 24 C.
• Close the cap carefully after use.
• Keep away from moisture.
• Shelf life not affected after opening if stored in a cool dry place.

Shelflife:

• 3 years from the date of Manufacturing.

Working Time:
No mixing is required. V Bioseal RCS can be applied immediately and introduced directly into the root canal. The working time can be more than 4 hours at room temperature.

Setting Time:
Setting time is 4 hours. However, in very dry root canals, the setting time can be more than 10 hours.

Directions for Use

• Anesthetize, install absolute isolation, and then perform the biomechanical preparation of the root canal.
• Remove the sealing tip and attach the applicator tip to the syringe.
• Dry the canal only with absorbent paper cones without causing excessive dryness.
• Apply V-bioseal rcs bioceramic Sealer in the apical third of the canal directly with the syringe.
• Insert the gutta-percha cone in the canal according to the last file used covered with
• V-bioseal rcs bioceramic Sealer.
• X-ray for checking the correct filling of the canal.
• Cut the cone at the desired height with heated instruments followed by vertical compression.
• Remove, excessive material from the canal walls, and perform crown sealing and restoration.
