Directions for Use

• Prior to application, ensure the area is clean and free from debris or excess fluids.
• Thoroughly mix the Medicept Hemostat Gel by gently kneading the tube to obtain a uniform consistency.
• Remove the cap from the tube and attach the provided infuser tip securely.
• Apply gentle pressure to the tube while guiding the infuser tip to the target site. The high viscosity of the gel will help it stay in place during application.
• Direct the infuser tip subgingivally to target capillaries and areas requiring hemostasis. Slowly and evenly apply the gel to cover the affected area.
• If necessary, use the infuser tip to gently scrape away any excess coagulum for superior hemostatic control.
• After applying the gel, maintain slight pressure on the site using a gauze pad or cotton roll to ensure optimal hemostasis.
• Observe the site for a few seconds to assess the hemostatic effect. The bleeding should cease rapidly.
• Rinse the area with water or a gentle saline solution to remove any residual gel, if desired.
• Recap the tube after use to preserve the gel’s effectiveness for future applications.
