Key Highlights
Description
Maarc R2 Ceramic Alloy For PFM Bonding is a premium-quality dental alloy designed to deliver excellent performance in porcelain-fused-to-metal (PFM) restorations. With an optimum balance of castability and bonding strength, it ensures reliable, long-lasting prosthetic outcomes. The alloy produces a uniform oxide layer at the porcelain–metal interface, enabling strong chemical adhesion between the metal substructure and ceramic veneer. Its refined grain structure imparts high mechanical strength, superior stability, and excellent burnishability, making it easy to contour and polish to a brighter shine and fine finish. The alloy is particularly suitable for open flame casting techniques, offering flexibility in laboratory workflows. It comes in convenient rectangular pieces for easy handling and precise casting. Composed of Nickel (62%), Chromium (25%), Molybdenum (11%), and Silicon (1%), this beryllium-free alloy is safe and efficient, meeting the demands of modern prosthodontics with its superior properties and ease of use in dental laboratories.
