Description
Maarc Twin Kleen 18% Root Canal Irrigant is a specialized chelating agent formulated with 18% HEBP (1-Hydroxyethylidene-1,1-bisphosphonate), offering short-term compatibility with sodium hypochlorite to enhance endodontic irrigation efficiency. This unique formulation allows simultaneous use with sodium hypochlorite, eliminating the need for a sequential irrigation protocol. The combined solution effectively dissolves organic tissues while preventing the formation of smear layer during rotary instrumentation. It also significantly reduces Accumulated Hard Tissue Debris (AHTD), enhancing canal cleanliness and improving disinfection outcomes. By penetrating anatomical complexities and preventing debris compaction, it facilitates more efficient debridement. Twin Kleen can be used both during instrumentation and as a final rinse, streamlining the irrigation process. For optimal results, it is recommended to mix with Maarc Sodium Hypochlorite 3% (preferred) or 5%. This ready compatibility makes it an ideal choice for clinicians aiming for simplified, effective, and thorough root canal irrigation in a single-step approach.

Directions for Use
Step 1: Prepare Solution
Mix Maarc Twin Kleen 18% with Maarc Sodium Hypochlorite 3% (preferred) or 5% in a 1:1 ratio immediately before use.
Step 2: Irrigation During Instrumentation
Use the prepared solution as the primary irrigant during rotary or hand instrumentation to facilitate debris removal and prevent smear layer formation.
Step 3: Final Rinse
After completing biomechanical preparation, irrigate the canal thoroughly with the same solution as the final rinse to ensure enhanced cleanliness and removal of residual debris.
Step 4: Irrigation Protocol
Activate the irrigant using sonic or ultrasonic agitation, if desired, to improve penetration in anatomical complexities.
Step 5: Precautions
Do not mix with EDTA or chlorhexidine. Use freshly prepared solution and discard unused portions. Avoid contact with eyes and soft tissue.
Step 6: Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct light and tightly close the bottle after use.
