Directions for Use
Preparation:
- Ensure all necessary tools and materials are sterilized and ready.
- Heat water to a temperature range of 55-65°C for softening the compound.
Softening:
- Submerge the Maarc Impression Compound Stick in the heated water.
- Allow the compound to soften uniformly, achieving a plastic state.
Application:
- Remove the softened compound from the water and quickly mold it to the desired shape.
- Apply the compound to the borders of the custom impression tray for border extensions.
- Use the softened compound to record the full depth of the sulcus and borders during impression making.
Impression Making:
- Insert the impression tray with the applied compound into the patient’s mouth.
- Gently press and mold the compound to capture the detailed structure of the oral cavity.
- Hold the tray in position until the compound begins to harden.
Hardening:
- Once the impression is formed, remove the tray and submerge it in cold water.
- Allow the compound to quickly harden, ensuring a stable and accurate impression.
Finishing:
- Check the impression for accuracy and completeness.
- Trim any excess compound if necessary.
Storage:
- Store the impression properly until further processing or use.
