B-Ostin HA Nano Bone Graft Material (0.125–0.355 mm) is a 100% synthetic hydroxyapatite (HA) granulate for dental bone regeneration in small, contained defects — most commonly socket preservation after extraction and fine guided-bone-regeneration (GBR) defects around implants.
Manufactured by wet chemical precipitation and ceramic processing, the granules mimic the mineral composition and trabecular architecture of human bone. With ~60–70% porosity and 100–300 µm pore size, B-Ostin provides an osteoconductive scaffold for vascular and cellular ingrowth, while the Ca/P ratio close to natural bone supports predictable bonding and integration. Because it is fully synthetic, B-Ostin is non-immunogenic, non-cytotoxic and free of disease-transmission risk associated with xenograft and allograft materials.
Clinically, the 0.125–0.355 mm grade is the preferred particle size for extraction socket preservation, small periodontal intrabony defects and fine GBR cases. Hydrate with sterile saline, patient blood or bone marrow aspirate, place without over-compression to preserve porosity, and stabilise with a barrier membrane where indicated. Graft remodelling and new bone formation typically progress over 3–6 months.
