Directions for Use

• Preparation: Ensure the treatment area is clean and free of debris before application. Open the package of Osspore Perio CHIP aseptically to maintain sterility.
• Insertion: Cut the chip to the desired size if necessary. Gently insert the soft gelatin chip into the periodontal pocket, ensuring it is fully seated. For Cervical Margins, cut the adhesive gelatine sheet to the appropriate size if needed. Place the sheet into the cervical margins, ensuring it adheres well to the debrided area.
• Application Techniques: If the chip is dry, moisten it with isotonic saline if preferred, and then insert it into the pocket.
• Post-Application: Avoid manipulating the area excessively to ensure the chip remains in place. Monitor the treated area for proper adherence and check for any signs of discomfort or complications.
• Removal: The chip is designed to biodegrade within 7 days. There is generally no need for removal unless specified by your dental professional.
• Storage: Once opened, use the product as soon as possible and discard any unused portions according to local regulations for medical waste.
• Follow-Up: Schedule a follow-up appointment with your dental professional to assess the treatment area and ensure proper healing.
