Xcem Osspore Collagen Membranes are advanced surgical biomaterials designed to protect bone fillers and enhance healing. Composed of purified bovine-derived collagen in its native triple-helix format, these membranes are pre-hydrated and feature a multi-layer mesh that resists soft tissue infiltration while preventing bacterial growth.

They maintain barrier functionality for 4-6 months and are resistant to degradation for 3-5 weeks, providing excellent handling properties and biocompatibility. Ideal for post-extraction socket rebuilds, the membranes can be cut to fit various wound sizes and convert to a soft gel sheet that remains in close contact with the wound bed.

Enhanced with antimicrobial silver, Collagen Membranes support cellular growth and manage wound moisture, making them suitable for both acute and chronic wounds.

Directions for Use

• Preparation: Ensure all instruments and materials are sterile before use. Xcem Osspore Collagen Membranes are pre-sterilized, so no additional sterilization is necessary. Handle with sterile gloves and tools to maintain sterility.
• Patient Considerations: Do not use if the patient is allergic to collagen or silver. Discontinue use immediately if signs of sensitization occur. This product is not indicated for third-degree burns.
• Wound Preparation: Thoroughly clean and debride the wound site to remove any debris or necrotic tissue. Ensure proper hemostasis before applying the membrane.
• Application: Cut the Xcem Osspore Collagen Membrane to the appropriate size to fit the wound. The membrane expands and thickens when wet, ensuring a snug fit. Apply the membrane to the wound, ensuring it adheres well to the bone or wound bed. The membrane should be in intimate contact with the wound to support optimal healing.
• Post-Application Care: Regularly monitor the wound for signs of infection. Collagen wound dressings are not intended for treating infected wounds; proper infection management should be conducted by medical professionals.
• Storage and Handling: Store any unused collagen membranes in a cool, dry place, adhering to manufacturer guidelines for handling and storage.
