Directions for Use

Preparation:

• Ensure the dental office and all instruments are in a sterile environment.
• Verify the compatibility of the abutment with the specific implant system.

Patient Assessment:

• Confirm that the patient has completed the necessary healing period post-implant placement.

Impression-Taking:

• Once the soft tissue is healed, take an impression of the implant site using appropriate dental impression materials.

Abutment Selection:

• Choose the Xcem Dental Implant Transfer Abutment of 4.5mm diameter, Non-Hex, based on the impression and adjacent tooth relationship.

Sterilization:

• Sterilize the abutment using an autoclave at 121°C for at least 30 minutes.

Setting the Abutment:

• Place the sterilized abutment in the implant site according to the dental plan.

Final Impression:

• Take the final impression with the installed abutment for prosthetic restoration.

Restoration Preparation:

• If the selected abutment is for a cement-retained type, wax up the abutment on a plaster cast to create the restoration.

Restoration Placement:

• After completing the restoration, place it onto the fixture or abutment in the patient’s mouth.

Occlusion Check:

• Verify the occlusion by checking the contact points with the upper and lower surfaces.

Torque Application:

• If connecting the abutment to the fixture, apply the recommended torque of 30-35N/cm².

Cover Screw Connection:

• If connecting a healing abutment or cover screw, use a torque of 8-10N/cm².
