Description

Wonder Lute Universal is a self-adhesive, dual cure, “One for All” resin luting cement indicated for permanent, “Super-Easy” cementations. It requires no separate etching or priming, offering super easy application – just mix, apply and cure! With high bond strength, virtually insoluble properties, and low film thickness (≈12 μm), it ensures accurate fit and long-lasting retention of indirect restorations. The easy clean up with tack cure feature minimizes chairside time. Clinical applications include cementation of metal, ceramic, and resin crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays, and endodontic posts as well as cementation of restorations to implant abutments

Directions for Use

CLINICAL APPLICATION

Cementation of Inlays, Onlays, Crown And Bridges

• 1. Try In Restoration Perform a try in of the restoration to ensure proper fitcheck.
• 2. Prosthesis Preparation The prosthesis is to be prepared as per manufacturers instructions.
• 3. Tooth Preparation Thoroughly clean the tooth surface with pumice and water to remove biofilm. Use of rubber dam is recommended to isolate the prepared teeth. Slightly dry in 2-3 intervals with oil free air. AVOID OVERDRYING.
• 4. Pulp Capping In case of a deep cavity, protect with an appropriate pulp capping agent. Do not use a eugenol containing liner.
• 5. Cementation i. Uncap the double syringe cartridge. Gently press the plunger to disperse pastes from both the barrels onto a mixing pad ensuring that both the pastes are flowing evenly at the same level. ii. Clean the nozzle tip with gauze after dispensing and replace the cap securely. iii. Mix the dispensed paste using a plastic spatula for 20 secs. Cementation of Posts

• 1. Post Space Preparation Use of rubber dam is recommended to isolate the tooth. Prepare the post space perform a try-in to ensure proper size and fit of the post. Rinse the post space with water and dry with paper points.
• 2. Preparation of Post Prepare the post as per manufacturers instructions.
• 3. Material Application
• i. Attach an Endo-Tip to a mixing cannula securely.
• ii. Insert the Endo-Tip as deep as possible into the root canal while applying Wonder Lute Universal and dispense the material starting apically.
• iii. Ensure keeping the endo-tip in the material to avoid bubbles.
• iv. Remove the endo-tip when the root canal has been filled completely.
• v. If necessary apply a thin layer of Wonder Lute Universal on the post.
• vi. Seat and rotate the post slightly upon insertion to avoid air entrapment. Secure the post in its position under moderate pressure.
• vii. Light cure the coronal part of the post for 20 seconds. The core build up can now be carried out using suitable restorative material such as Wonder Bulk Filler etc.

Veneer Restorations: It is ideal for cementation of 1-2 units at a time.

Tooth Preparation:

Thoroughly clean the tooth surface with pumice and water to remove biofilm. Use of rubber dam is recommended to isolate the prepared teeth. Slightly dry in 2-3 intervals with oil free air. AVOID OVERDRYING.

Adhesive Application:

Apply suitable LC adhesive such as Select Bond TE/Wonder Bond SE as per manufacturer’s instructions for use.

Cementation:

i. Uncap the double syringe cartridge. Gently press the plunger to disperse pastes from both the barrels onto a mixing pad ensuring that both the pastes are flowing evenly at the same level.

ii. Clean the nozzle tip with gauze after dispensing and replace the cap securely.

iii. Mix the dispensed paste using a plastic spatula and dispense the cement directly onto the internal surface of the veneer.

iv. Place the veneer gently onto the tooth, allowing the cement to slowly flow from all margins.

Light Curing:

Light cure for about 10 secs and remove excess material with the help of scaler or explorer. Light cure all marginal areas of restoration for 20 seconds from each direction. It is strongly recommended to Light Cure the restoration. Refer to the recommended working, setting and curing times given for Cementation of Inlays, Onlays, Crown And Bridges.
