Directions for Use

Steps to Use:

• Remove the storage bottle from inside the water distiller
• Fill the tank inside the machine’s body up to the highest water level line be very careful not to overfill the tank. (time needed to distill water can be reduced by using already-boiled water.)
• Place the top cover onto the machine’s body, ensuring the silicone seal is correctly placed around the entire rim. Check to make sure the unit is on a stable surface. Then connect the power cord from the top cover to the machine’s body.
• Set up the storage bottle as per diagram I. Connect the power cord to a power outlet.
• Press the “Start Button”. The fan will come on automatically, and the tank will begin to heat, thus starting the distilling process.
• Water will drip into the storage bottle after approximately 30 minutes. It will take approximately 4 hours to distill 4 liters of water. The unit will automatically shut down when the cycle has finished.
• Do not use the first bottle of distilled water. It will take one distilling cycle for the unit to’self-clean. Wipe out the tank and rinse or discard the water in the storage bottle. The distiller is now ready to create distilled water.

Cleaning:

Rinse and wipe out the tank every day using clean water. Calcification and scale will build up on the bottom of the tank and should be removed every two weeks. Use the following instructions:

• Pour in enough hot water to cover the scale in the tank
• Pour 1-4 teaspoons into the tank, depending on the amount of scale.
• Leave the lid off the unit and start up a cycle by pushing the “Reset Button”.
• Let the cycle run for 30 minutes, pour out the water, and wash the inside of the tank with clean water.
• If the scale is not completely removed, repeat the process.
• Replace carbon bag in nozzle every 3 months

Please Note:

• Use the unit in a dry, well-ventilated area.
• Keep the body of the unit dry; only fill it with water using a jug.
• “Reset button will begin the distilling cycle, and the unit will automatically turn itself off when the cycle is finished. To stop the unit mid-cycle, turn off the power switch.
• Leave the power cord unconnected when the unit is not in use Do not immerse any part of the water
• Do not remove the cover whilst the unit is mid-cycle Wait until the unit has cooled down before removing the top.
• The unit must be allowed to cool down before starting another distilling cycle. (This will prevent injuries from scalding water and prolong the life of the distiller.)
