MAINTAINENCE INSTRUCTIONS:

• Must clean after every use with warm water to remove blood , tissues and mucus from the instruments.
• Ultrasonic cleaning is recommended in case of blood stains.
• Use only standard and reputed brand of disinfectant solutions.

STERILIZATION:

• We recommend that the temperature does not exceed 120C
• Dry heat sterilization see that temperature does not exceed 180C and there should be no long exposure as this would cause discoloration, loss of temper and this in turn would disturb the hardening of the instrument
• Do not use substandard chemicals or disinfectants as they can damage the instruments
• Avoid use of unsuitable highly acidic chlorine containing agents
• Use Demineralized water only
• Never rub an instrument with metal brush at the time of cleaning.

Directions for Use

Directions for using Waldent Rubber Dam Clamps – Adult:

• Preparation: Ensure that the patient is comfortably positioned and adequately anesthetized, if necessary, for the dental procedure.
• Selection: Choose the appropriate Waldent Rubber Dam Clamp based on the specific area of the dental arch requiring isolation. Refer to the provided chart or consult with the dentist for proper selection.
• Placement: Using dental forceps, gently grasp the selected clamp and position it along the edge of the gums in the desired location.
• Rubber Dam Application: Place the rubber dam sheet over the dental arch, ensuring it covers the treatment area completely.
• Clamp Engagement: Carefully engage the Waldent Rubber Dam Clamp onto the rubber dam sheet, ensuring a secure and snug fit along the gum line.
• Verification: Verify that the clamp is securely holding the rubber dam in place and that the treatment area is adequately isolated from intraoral contamination.
• Procedure: Proceed with the dental procedure as planned, taking care to work within the isolated treatment area.
• Removal: Upon completion of the procedure, gently disengage the clamp from the rubber dam sheet and remove it from the patient’s mouth using dental forceps.
• Disinfection: Thoroughly disinfect the Waldent Rubber Dam Clamp according to recommended protocols before reuse or storage.
• Storage: Store the clamp in a clean, dry environment to maintain its integrity and prevent contamination until its next use.
