Description

Directions for Use

Preparation:

• Ensure that the air-rotor and cartridge are properly assembled and securely attached to the dental handpiece according to the manufacturer’s guidelines.

Lubrication:

• Before autoclaving, apply a sufficient amount of good-quality handpiece oil to lubricate the air-rotor. Proper lubrication is crucial for smooth operation and the longevity of the instrument.

Sterilization:

• Autoclave the assembled air-rotor and cartridge at temperatures up to 135°C. Follow the manufacturer’s recommendations for autoclaving procedures to ensure proper sterilization.

Connection to Dental Unit:

• Connect the air-rotor handpiece to the dental unit using the appropriate coupling mechanism. Ensure a secure and proper connection to prevent any leaks or malfunctions.

Power and Water Supply:

• Connect the air and water supply to the dental unit. Confirm that the air pressure and water flow are set to the recommended levels for the airotor’s optimal performance.

Insertion of Bur:

• Use the push-button mechanism to easily insert and secure the dental bur in the air-rotor head. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for the specific bur type recommended for the airotor.

Adjustment of Speed and Spray:

• Adjust the speed of the airotor and the water spray according to the specific requirements of the dental procedure being performed.

Dental Procedure:

• Begin the dental procedure, using the airotor as needed for cutting, shaping, or polishing, while ensuring proper cooling with the water spray.

Post-Procedure Care:

• After completing the dental procedure, detach the airotor from the handpiece. Clean and sterilize the components as per the manufacturer’s instructions before storage.
