Directions for Use

Preparation:

Ensure that the porcelain restoration, whether it’s a veneer, crown, bridge, inlay, onlay, or fractured dental porcelain, is thoroughly cleaned and free from any debris, contaminants, or residual agents.

Etching:

• Dispense a small amount of Ultradent Porcelain Silane onto a disposable applicator or brush.
• Apply the silane evenly onto the etched surface of the porcelain restoration, ensuring complete coverage. Use gentle pressure to facilitate even distribution.

Dwell Time

Allow the Ultradent Porcelain Silane to remain on the etched surface for the recommended time, typically 60 seconds. This time ensures optimal chemical interaction and bonding enhancement.

Rinsing

After the appropriate dwell time has elapsed, thoroughly rinse the treated porcelain restoration with water. This step helps remove any excess silane from the surface and prepares it for resin cement application.

Drying

Use compressed air or another suitable drying method to completely dry the treated surface. Ensure that the porcelain restoration is completely moisture-free before proceeding to the resin cement application.

Resin Cement Application

The chemically compatible surface created by Ultradent Porcelain Silane will contribute to the strong bond between the porcelain restoration and the resin cement.
