SuperEndo Safety Memory Disc (Pack of 100) – Yellow

Description

SuperEndo Safety Memory Discs are reusable accessories that are intended to be used in combination with endodontic files. They are mounted with sterile or non-sterile instruments. They consist of a small thin coloured silicone disc used to control endodontic instrument fatigue. The disc has 4 or 8 detachable petal shaped sections. Petals are intended to be removed manually after each use. The number of remaining petals indicates the further possible uses. These discs are delivered separately, non-sterile, in a standard packaging.

Directions for Use

• Insert the Safety Memory Discs (SMD) in your file before using it for the first time.
• Remove one petal of Safety Memory Disc after each use.
• The remaining petals will denote the number of times the file can be used safely without breakage.

• For rotary instruments, one to six petals are removed from the flange after each treatment. The number of remaining petals indicates the further possible uses :

  • 2 petal corresponds to simple cases(S), that is, straight, slightly curved or wide canals, Radius ≧ 25mm
  • 4 petal correspond to moderately complex cases (M), that is, more curved or narrow canals, Radius 25 until 11 min.
  • 6 petal correspond to difficult cases, i.e. canals with extreme curvature, S-shaped, very narrow or calcified. Radius ≦11 min.
