Description

SDI Stae is a one-component, light-cured self-etch adhesive designed to simplify bonding procedures while delivering reliable adhesion to enamel and dentin. The adhesive combines etching, priming, and bonding in a single application step, reducing technique sensitivity and chairside time. Its nanofiller-enhanced formulation creates a uniform adhesive layer and contributes to strong, durable bond strength. Stae is indicated for direct light-cured composite restorations, compomers, porcelain repairs when used with appropriate primers, and dentin sealing procedures. The material forms a hybrid layer and resin tags simultaneously, promoting effective adhesion and minimizing the risk of postoperative sensitivity. Its ethanol-based formulation ensures easy handling and excellent adaptation to tooth structure.

Directions for Use

• Isolate the operative field using standard clinical protocols.
• Prepare the tooth surface and remove debris or contaminants.
• Dispense a small amount of Stae into a clean dispensing well.
• Apply the adhesive generously to enamel and dentin surfaces using a microbrush.
• Agitate the material on the tooth surface for approximately 20 seconds.
• Gently air-dry to evaporate the solvent and obtain a uniform adhesive film.
• Light cure according to the curing light manufacturer’s recommendations.
• Proceed with placement of composite or restorative material following standard restorative protocols.
• Build up and cure restorative material incrementally where required.
• Finish and polish the restoration according to standard clinical procedures.
