Directions for Use

Before Operation:

• Read the Manual: Familiarize yourself with the operator’s manual provided with the grinder for comprehensive guidance on its usage and safety precautions.
• Check Voltage: Ensure that the power supply voltage matches the voltage stated on the machine’s label.
• Safety Gear: Put on proper safety gear, including safety glasses or goggles and a dust mask.

Operating the Grinder:

• Power Off: Ensure the machine is switched off before connecting or disconnecting any components.
• Plug-In: Connect the power cord to a three-hole grounded receptacle with the appropriate voltage.
• Grinding Stones: Only use grinding stones, cutters, burrs, buffing wheels, and tools that are rated above 24,000 RPM to prevent personal injury.
• Belt Guard: Verify that the belt guard is securely attached before operation.
• Adjust Working Height: If needed, adjust the working height using the provided adjustment feature on the left front of the mounting bracket.
• Eye Protection: While using the grinder, utilize the fully adjustable safety shield and additional safety glasses or goggles for eye protection.
• Dust Collection: Ensure the machine is connected to a dust collection system to manage dust and fumes. Empty the dust collector bag regularly to maintain efficient suction.
• Spindle Speed Adjustment: For the desired spindle speed (10,000 RPM or 24,000 RPM), adjust the drive belt position on the motor and spindle pulleys. Refer to the manual for details.
• Changing Tools: To change tools, move the clutch handle counterclockwise to the right, disengaging the clutch and opening the collet. This allows tools to be replaced without stopping the machine. Do not close the collet without a tool inserted.
• Collet Maintenance: Periodically remove and clean the collet with solvent, applying a thin film of grease or Vaseline before reinstallation. Do not use oil on the collet.

Maintenance:

• Electric Motor: The motor requires minimal maintenance and is enclosed, so no additional maintenance is needed.
• Belt Drive: Do not over-tighten belts. The tension spring inside the mounting hole should provide sufficient tension.
• Dust Collector: Regularly empty and replace the dust collector bag to maintain suction. No lubrication is required for the dust collector.
• High-Speed Automatic Spindle: Clean and lightly lubricate the collet weekly. Do not use oil on the spindle.
