Directions for Use

Selection:

• Choose the appropriate size and shape of the copper NiTi ovoid rectangular archwire based on the patient’s arch form and treatment stage

Preparation:

• Ensure the patient’s brackets are clean and properly positioned. Confirm the archwire is at room temperature for easier engagement, as it is more flexible when cool

Insertion:

• Gently insert the archwire into the bracket slots, starting from one end and progressing to the other, aligning it with each bracket along the dental arch

Securing:

• Use ligatures or elastomeric ties to secure the archwire into each bracket. Trim any excess wire at the distal ends to prevent irritation

Activation:

• Once in the mouth, the wire will warm to oral temperature, activating its superelastic and shape-memory properties for continuous, gentle force application

Monitoring:

• Regularly monitor tooth movement and wire integrity during follow-up visits, replacing or adjusting the wire as needed for ongoing treatment progress

Patient Instructions:

• Advise the patient to maintain good oral hygiene and report any discomfort or wire displacement immediately
