Directions for Use

To use the MPAS F16R Handpiece, follow these step-by-step instructions:

• Begin by removing the rubber cap on the backside of the motor handpiece body using a slotted bit screwdriver. This will expose the connection area.
• Insert the Connection Cord Clip into the exposed connection area. Ensure it is securely in place.
• Mount the Contra Angle Head to the motor handpiece. When removing or replacing the head, pull it out straightly without applying any angle or force.
• Take the Connection Cord and insert it into the slit of the Connection Cord Clip. Adjust the tension of the Connection Cord between the head and the Connection Cord Clip to ensure it is not too slack.
• Connect the Contra Angle Head Connection Cord to the Clip of the Apex locator. Make sure the connection is secure.
• Insert the Endodontic file into the head of the handpiece. Lightly turn the file until it engages with the latch mechanism. Then, push it inward to hear a click, indicating that it is securely in place.
• When it’s time to remove the file, push the push button on the handpiece with your thumb. This will release the file from the latch mechanism, allowing for easy removal.
• If you need to mount a different Endodontic file to the Contra Angle Head, slide the File Clip Holder towards the head direction until it contacts the Endodontic file and File Clip. This ensures a secure fit.

To connect or disconnect the cord:

• To connect: Insert the Cord Mounting Pin at the end of the cord into the hole on the Motor Handpiece body. The cord should be at a right angle to the body. Rotate the cord 90˚ until it seats correctly.
• To disconnect: Move the cord back and rotate it in the opposite direction to release it from the Motor Handpiece body.
