Directions for Use

• Prepare the NSK Contrangle Handpiece FX25 for use by ensuring that it is properly cleaned and sterilized according to established infection control protocols.
• Attach the handpiece to the dental unit or air motor using the appropriate connections and secure it in place.
• Prior to inserting a bur, ensure that the handpiece is set to the desired speed. Adjust the speed control on the dental unit or air motor accordingly.
• To insert a bur, press the push button located on the handpiece to activate the chuck mechanism. This will release the existing bur, if any, from the chuck.
• Carefully insert the desired CA bur with a diameter of 2.35mm into the chuck. Ensure that it is securely held in place before proceeding.
• Once the bur is securely inserted, release the push button to lock the bur in position. Ensure that the bur is firmly held in the chuck to prevent any slippage during use.
• Position the handpiece at the desired area in the oral cavity for treatment. The slim head and body design of the FX25 handpiece provide improved visibility, allowing for better access to even difficult-to-reach areas.
• Engage the dental unit or air motor to activate the handpiece. Gradually increase the speed to the desired level, up to a maximum of 40,000 min-1, while maintaining control and precision during the procedure.
• Throughout the procedure, the Clean Head System of the handpiece will help prevent the entry of blood and foreign matter from the oral cavity into the head. This will contribute to the longevity of the ball bearings and other mechanical parts.
• After completing the procedure, reduce the speed of the handpiece and disengage the dental unit or air motor.
• To remove the bur, press the push button to release it from the chuck. Carefully remove the bur and dispose of it appropriately.
