Description

NEOPURE Fast Set Putty (Base & Catalyst) is a hydrophilic A-Silicone Vinyl Polysiloxane (VPS) impression material developed for obtaining highly accurate and dimensionally stable dental impressions. Its fast-setting formulation helps reduce chairside time while maintaining exceptional detail reproduction, making it suitable for a wide range of restorative and prosthodontic procedures. The material consists of an orange base and white catalyst that are mixed in equal proportions to achieve a homogeneous consistency with excellent handling characteristics. Its hydrophilic nature allows reliable impression-taking even in moist oral environments, while high tear resistance and elastic recovery ensure accurate impression removal without distortion. Compatible with both single-step and two-step impression techniques, it is ideal for crown and bridge impressions, implant restorations, inlays, onlays, and other precision restorative applications. The impression can also be stored and poured for up to four weeks without compromising dimensional accuracy.

Directions for Use

Step 1: Tray Preparation

• Ensure the impression tray is clean and dry.
• Select an appropriately sized tray.
• Apply tray adhesive if required.
• Allow the adhesive to dry completely before use.

Step 2: Material Mixing

• Dispense equal amounts of orange base and white catalyst.
• Use the provided color-coded measuring spoons.
• Knead thoroughly for approximately 30 seconds.
• Continue mixing until a uniform color is achieved.

Step 3: Loading the Tray

• Place the mixed putty into the impression tray immediately.
• Adapt the material evenly throughout the tray.
• Avoid trapping air bubbles during loading.
• Complete tray loading within the working time.

Step 4: Impression Taking

• Seat the loaded tray in the patient’s mouth.
• Maintain steady pressure during setting.
• Allow the material to set for 2 minutes 30 seconds.
• Remove the impression carefully after complete setting.

Step 5: Post-Impression Care

• Rinse the impression under running water.
• Disinfect according to standard clinical protocols.
• Allow the impression to dry before pouring.
• Pour the model immediately or store for up to 4 weeks.
