It is composed of two components: a powder and a liquid, which when combined form a reliable and durable root canal sealer. The powder component of Medicept SureSeal Root Canal Sealer consists of zinc oxide, calcium phosphate, and barium sulfate. Zinc oxide provides excellent sealing properties, ensuring a tight and secure seal within the root canal. Calcium phosphate enhances the cement’s biocompatibility, making it suitable for use in both primary and permanent teeth. Barium sulfate is added to the powder to provide radiopacity, allowing for easy and accurate follow-up examinations.

Directions for Use

Preparation:

• Clean and shape the root canal using standard endodontic procedures, ensuring it is free from debris and contaminants.
• Ensure that the canal is dry before proceeding with the cement application.

Mixing the Components:

• Measure the appropriate amount of Medicept SureSeal Root Canal Sealer powder and liquid using a suitable measuring device or scoop.
• Dispense the measured powder and liquid onto a cool, dry mixing pad.

Mixing the Cement:

• Use a suitable spatula to thoroughly mix the powder and liquid components. Continuously fold the materials together until a homogenous paste-like consistency is achieved.
• Ensure that there are no lumps or unmixed areas in the cement.

Application:

• Using an appropriate endodontic instrument or syringe, apply the mixed Medicept SureSeal Root Canal Sealer into the prepared root canal.
• Make sure to distribute the cement evenly throughout the canal to ensure a reliable and durable seal.

Cementation of Gutta Percha Points or Silver Points (if applicable):

• If using Medicept SureSeal Root Canal Sealer for the cementation of Gutta Percha or silver points, for their placement within the root canal.

Adjustment of Cement Viscosity:

• As needed, adjust the cement’s viscosity by altering the powder-to-liquid ratio during mixing. This will allow you to adapt the cement to the specific technique required for the procedure.

Setting and Expansion:
