Directions for Use

• Ensure the Medicept Glass Ionomer Universal Liquid is at room temperature before use.
• Shake the bottle well to achieve uniform consistency.

Restorative applications:

• Prepare the tooth surface following standard dental procedures.
• Mix the appropriate Medicept glass ionomer restorative material.
• Add the recommended amount of Universal Liquid to the mixed glass ionomer restorative and mix thoroughly until a homogenous blend is achieved.
• Use the mixture to restore the prepared tooth, ensuring proper adaptation and contouring.
• Allow the restoration to set as per the restorative material’s setting time.

Luting applications:

• Mix the selected Medicept glass ionomer luting cement.
• Add the prescribed amount of Universal Liquid to the mixed luting cement and mix thoroughly until a smooth and consistent mixture is obtained.
• Apply the luting cement to the prepared tooth or the prosthesis, ensuring a secure fit.
• Seat the prosthesis onto the prepared tooth with gentle pressure.
• Allow the luting cement to set according to the material’s setting time.
• After the procedure, ensure the patient refrains from eating or drinking for the specified setting time to allow for proper curing and bonding.
• Clean and store the Medicept Glass Ionomer Universal Liquid bottle in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, to maintain its integrity for future use.
